Chef Denny Mike
Born and raised in Old Orchard Beach, ME I grew up in a food service environment, my folks having owned a takeout concession and full-service restaurant during my early years of growing up. I like to say that I’ve been slinging burgers (and BS, I’m told…!) since I was eight years of age. I’ve got a couple of years left to get my college degree but in the interim, I have owned a silk screen printing/ advertising specialty company as well as a few restaurants and also did some real estate brokerage, investing and rehab, and renovation. For the past 20+ years, I have been the owner and chief cook and bottle washer (as my Dad used to say…) of DennyMike’s, an award-winning line of all-natural and gluten-free seasoning blends, rubs in BBQ circles, based in Westbrook, ME. The products are available from Maine to New jersey in Whole Foods, throughout New England, and upstate New York in Hannaford’s, as well as a dozen countries in Europe through a distributor in Germany.
