Worked great and fit perfect. They must have fixed the fitting problem
Posted by Donald on Aug 9th 2019
I have the weber go anywhere charcoal. Worked like they said. The food had good flavor nice and juicy. Must have fixed the fittings problem. My lid shut and you could hang off side. Bought the gas version just waiting for flavor bars to arrive and see how it works. If it works like the charcoal il be pretty pleased.
Great grates but my lid won't fit while using them
Posted by Daniel Buck on Jul 13th 2019
First and foremost, GrillGrates makes an excellent product! They are very high quality and they excel at what they are designed to do. The only complaint I have is that the lid on my grill won't fit while the GrillGrates are in the grill. I know most cooking will be done with the lid off but when it's windy or dusty while camping I would like the option to put the lid on. It seems to me like a bevel of the outer top edges of the grates would completely solve this problem.
The Best Grates
Posted by Andy Cothern on Jul 24th 2018
I just bought a weber go anywhere to cook for my wife and I since it’s just us at our house most of the time. I have 3 other weber kettles but they’re all overkill for a simple short cook for supper. The go anywhere gets it done with just 20 or 30 coals. I knew I had to have a set of GrillGrates for it because the set I have on my big Kettle are the best thing ever. No flare ups, hotter more even cook temps and easy to clean. Love the shorter spatula too! I highly recommend GrillGrates for any grill you may have. You just can’t go wrong!
GGs are great!

I made a thick strip steak for my first cook using GGs on the little Weber, and, I was very pleased with the result. The grill marks were quite prominent, and the steak cooked quickly with the high temperature that was available in this unit.
The only negative regarding the GrillGrates for this little Weber was that I had to buy the spatula with the grates. Sincfe I already have a spatula for my bigger gas grill, and do not plan to use the little Weber other than on my patio- I would have preferred the option of getting the grates w/o the spatula for a lower price.

love this grill grate, fits my unknown port. gas grill, and not any flair ups !! just have to get used to turning things over, tend to go too far, and push the grates to the rear, just need to pay more attn. !

I have a cheap table top grill that was under $15. Bought the Weber to go grill grate which fits perfect. Was hesitant to buy it since the grate cost more then the grill but I did since it was 15% off. The BEST investment I ever made. Cleans easy, no more flare ups. The best chicken & burgers ever. So juicy !!! If your thinking about it...do it !!! You well deserve it !!!
Obstructs the lid

The grillgrates are fantastic. I already own grillgrates for my chargriller duo and love them so after buying a Go Anywhere I wanted to upgrade the grate to grillgrates. They improve the portability of the grill because they come in sections and store easily inside the grill and make room for charcoal or tools. The only issue is that the Go Anywhere lid won't fit perfectly with the grillgrates in place. There are tabs on the inside of the Weber lid so you can rest the lid on the side of the unit when you want it open and with the grillgrates in place those tabs sit on the grill and prevent the lid from closing. If you are only grilling it's not an issue but if you want precise temperature control it becomes an issue. I don't intend to be using the Go Anywhere as a smoker any time soon but I can't seal up the unit to snuff the flame easily without removing the very hot grates first. I may just cut off the tabs on the lid, but I like being able to hook it on the side to keep it out of the way.
Anyway, it's not really a flaw, just something to be aware of. And it's partly an issue with the design of the Go Anywhere too. I love the grates themselves. I did smashburgers yesterday with the grates turned over to the griddle side and they turned out beautifully. Great (grate?) product!
Hi Kevin- (Brad here from GG) we've seen some generations of Go Anywhere close nice and tight and others not. However we have had a handful report lid not closing tightly We chalked it up to factory variance since most customers do not report this issue- we'll look into those tabs too. Thanks for your feedback grill on!
Great Product, needs one minor change

The GrillGrate for the Weber Go Anywhere grill are essential to maximize this little grill. The three piece design allows them to store in the unit and still maintain the Go Anywhere portability. The only CHANGE or IMPROVEMENT needed is to the GrillGrate tool. The handle of the tool is about 1" too long to fit inside the unit for storage. The company ships a shorter version with this set than the full length version that were provided with my PK GrillGrates, but it still has to be cut down to store inside the grill. -----Brad here- NICE suggestion Jay- note to self look at making the shorter tool just a bit shorter! Thanks!
Griil Grates are the best!
Posted by Ernie on Oct 13th 2017
Got these griill grates for the Weber Go Anywhere grill. The 3 piece grates make the grill portable because everything now fits inside the grill including the Weber rapid fire chimney filled with briquettes, makes transport (where space is an issue) easier. Cooking on the grill grates is perfect and using wood chips when you grill you won’t have any flare ups. Easy clean up. Highly recommend these grill grates!
A Grilling Epiphany!
Posted by Dick T. on Jun 23rd 2017
By way of background, I recently bought a Weber GoAnywhere for my everyday grilling for my wife and I. I already have a full complement of smokers and a venerable Hasty Bake Charcoal Oven. The HB is wonderful for grilling (it has an adjustable fire grate, which also makes it great for smoking), but it is overkill for grilling for just the two of us. I decided to add GrillGrates to the new GoAnywhere in the effort to arrive at the perfect small grill for stuff like steaks, fish, burgers and the like. The steak that I cooked last night was a work of bbq art, perhaps qualifying me as the Michelangelo of Meat. Also, the GG's really enhance the little grill for plank cooking fish. It allows the placement of a wood plank on a really hot grill top without the plank burning up. All in all, an excellent addition to my bbq collection.
