I own a chargriller duo which has 2 grilling surfaces side by side, one gas and one charcoal. The grill had rusted out and deteriorated so I had to replace both grill surfaces, which was quite an investment but well worth it. I couldn’t be happier with the grillgrates. So f ar I’ve cooked hamburgers, rib eye steak, chicken wings, and marinated chicken. All with fantastic results. No more hot and cold spots on my grill. No more flare ups, at all. Greasy hamburgers and marinated chicken doesn’t char from flare ups or dry out. I stay up at night dreaming of all the awesome recipes I can grill on it.
It’s not advertised anywhere on the website, but the grill grates can be flipped and used as a flat griddle. I cooked fajitas with grilled chicken on right-side-up grillgrates, and sautéed onions and peppers on a flipped grillgrate. Time will tell if they last as long as advertised.
