It is really awesome to be able to take a temp of your cooking surface. It gives me so much confidence to know when the grill is ready to cook. It is the first time, I have ever used something like this.

Bought this since the grill grates are hotter than my gas grill’s built in thermometer shows. It seems to work very well however the instructions do not match the model.

A must have tool for checking temps on your GrillGrate which runs hotter than what your hood thermometer reads. Never been able to get an accurate temperature on my grill hood thermometer but the laser thermometer does an excellent job and very accurate. An essential edition to your GrillGrate family

It’s nice seeing the grillgrates temp since the dome one is not correct. This device does the trick. I also use it other items like my Blackstone griddle. It’s nice to see the temp and the hot and cooler spots.
