Used both sides. Cooked bacon on the flat side then flipped the grate over and cooked hamburgers on the other side. The bacon cheeseburgers were tasty.

My half moon grill grate is the perfect companion to my slow and sear. I love doing a reverse sear after having the protein smoke for a bit and this setup is perfect!

I think these are going to be a great addition for the Traeger. Burgers and Bacon turned out wonderfully. Next: Pizza, should be good.

The grill grates work very well on both sides...flat side love the burned edges of burgers or grill side perfect for chicken grill marks. The steak i cook on flat side then use charcoal to finish them up. Sometimes i used wood chips and they work fine with either side.

In a previous review I gave a 4 star rating to GrillGrates for the Victory 3-Burner Gas Grill. My sole complaint was that (I thought) the 5 grate panels I received were incorrectly sized wider than specified on the website and when laid out did not quite fit my Victory grill properly. Now I'm upgrading my rating to a full 5 stars. I was way off base as I had not fully engaged the interlocking mechanism between all my new GrillGrate panels, resulting in an overall grilling surface larger than it should have been. When corrected with proper interlocking, the GrillGrate panels did in fact fit my Victory grill (although slightly wider than I'd prefer). I got great help from Wendi in Customer Support who (with much patience) diagnosed my "problem" and got to the root cause quickly. I was quite impressed with her quick response and repeated follow-up. They even provided me with a couple of additional smaller panels giving me a slightly narrower span and achieving my desired wider gap for more heat dissipation and for better two zone grilling. I'm a huge fan of GrillGrates. This is my second set. (I even have a third--their small grate for my countertop air fryer/oven.) These grates really jack up the performance of your grill. And if you're working with a basic, lower-end grill they will actually take your grilling up several notches. Higher, more even heat--and minimal flare-ups to boot.
