I decided to use it indoors on my glass top electric range. Absolutely no better way to make pancakes! It beats everything I have ever used before hands down. Try it! You will love it I promise.
Good Introduction to Cooking With a Griddle
Posted by Unknown on Mar 24th 2019
Works well for cooking anything from hamburgers to pancakes. But, whereas dedicated griddles allow you to push all the debris into a well of some kind at the front or back, this griddle is flat from front to back so you have to just pile up all the burnt debris at the rear and clean it off with a spatula. Also, over time mine warped slightly and is higher in the middle, causing any oil you pour on to immediately run to the edges. My biggest concern is that frying everything in oil probably isn't as healthy for you as barbequing. Still, an inexpensive way to see if using a griddle is for you.
More than a griddle!

These are fantastic at being a griddle but have you tried defrosting anything on it? Absolutely amazing! I did 4 thick pork chops last night from frozen solid to thawed in 90 minutes. I love these things!
So far so good

I ordered 2 of these and used them and so far so good. Cooked burgers on them so they cooked in their own fats and they slid right off with ease. I highly recommend them as well.

Great product, works well with the grill grates. I like the flat surface for vegs, onions and potatos. Easy to clean.
Sous Vide Companion
Posted by Jeffrey Lavine on Sep 14th 2018
Sous Vide cooking requires heating meat that is sealed in a vacuum bag to a preset temperature for a length of time. This tenderizes (pasteurizes) the meat making it extremely tender, but does not overcook it. However, when you finish the process you need to sear the meat to make it more appealing and to seal in rubs and spices. The GrillGriddle is perfect for finishing the process. You can evenly sear all sides of the meat on the griddle making it even more delicious and inviting.
Love the GrateGriddle!
Posted by Tim Sullivan on Sep 11th 2018
I've had the GrateGriddle for some time now and love what I am able to do with it in conjunction with my Grill Grates. Veggies, smashburgers, potatoes, stir-fry, lots of options! The only downside is that there is a small (very small) ridge where the GrateGriddles connect together. I wish they were made in different widths so that I could have a single solid, flat surface to griddle on. Other than that, FANTASTIC!
Great addition to my grilling setup

The GrateGriddle gives me lots of options now when I am the one tasked with manning the grill.... veggies, toasting buns , frying eggs... you name it!
Really like the griddle

Works great for searing, making smash burgers, breakfast.
Only down side is when cooking greasy foods, grease runs down into grill causing a mess. Would like to see a lip on the ends to help contain grease.
Pancakes and bacon

Yesterday, we had a large grilling (Not BBQ) party where rib eyes and veggies were grilled.
Early this morning, I decided to make pancakes, eggs, and bacon using this product.
