I purchased these grates to replace the original grates that came with my Tec grill. The original Tec grates basically sucked. Loved the grill, hated the grates. Fixed that problem with GrillGrates. The design of the GrillGrates allow my infrared burners to get super hot by trapping the heat below the grates while preventing flare ups because of the design with the GrillGrates. They GrillGrates also gave great sear marks on my steaks and chicken. I strongly recommend this product to all of the owner of Tec grills that do not have the new infrared glass shields.

While looking to replace my 10 year old Weber grill, I realized that, with the exception of the grates, the grill was in excellent shape. I found GrillGrate by chance and after reading about the replacement grates and speaking to customer service, I thought I’d give them a try. I’ve had the grates for 2 months and have used the grill extensively during that time. I can’t say enough positive things about the product! The fit was perfect, the heat distribution is fantastic (very even across the grill), and the temperature of the grill did increase as advertised. I love the sear and grill marks I get with the grates.
They are pricey but worth the extra cost. I’d buy them again and highly recommend them.
