These Grates were cut by hand to get them into the market fast and in time for the holidays. We’ve deburred the edges. The cut edge is unanodized and will not affect the cooking surface. There may be minor scratches, but they are only cosmetic. The industry term is coining. You can’t feel them, and they have no impact on the cook or cleanability.
At MAX Temps you will see very fast cook times and significant carry-over cooking. Adjust your cook times and temps accordingly and pull your food 5-10 degrees less than your target temps.

I never leave reviews. However i was looking to get a replacement for my ninja since I use it almost every day. Somehow, I stumbled upon the grill grate. And it takes my ninja to the next level. I don’t use it for everything, but when it comes to steaks and burgers, Holy Smokes. Follow the instructions for seasoning the grate! I used onions to season it.

I have used the griddle side and the grill side, and both are virtually non-stick, and clean up easily!

I recently did a steak on the grill, and while the taste is the same as the original grill plate of my Ninja XL 6 in 1, the presentation was much better as I was able to achieve crisscross grill marks.

I just purchased the combo tongs/spatula and look forward to using it as it fits between the rails for easier lifting than using standard tongs.

Shout out to Wendi at Grill Grate – my original grill/griddle arrived damaged, and she gave great customer service in sending me a replacement.

This grate fits my ninja grill XL perfectly and performs as advertized. I sprayed some oil in it before grilling and the clean up was easy. I will use it a lot.

What sounded like a good idea turned out to be disappointing. I’ve only used it a few times and feel like I need to be careful handling it since the edges are not smooth and it certainly did not clean up very well & am not supposed to put it in the dishwasher. The grill pan that came with my Ninja Foodi Grill is much easier to clean, sorry. And it wasn’t cheap !
