These Grates were cut by hand to get them into the market fast and in time for the holidays. We’ve deburred the edges. The cut edge is unanodized and will not affect the cooking surface. There may be minor scratches, but they are only cosmetic. The industry term is coining. You can’t feel them, and they have no impact on the cook or cleanability.
At MAX Temps you will see very fast cook times and significant carry-over cooking. Adjust your cook times and temps accordingly and pull your food 5-10 degrees less than your target temps.
Don’t forget- NO Dishwasher as the detergents are caustic and can pit your SNS Grate

The grill grates arrived on time as advertised. Great Product! I had to order the ninja food I xl grill grates because you were out of the ninja foodi xl pro oven grill grates. They fit and work great. Please restock the ninja foodi xl pro oven grates.

I’ve only used this grill plate once so far but it was great for a burger. I didn’t spray it first so the burger did stick on it a bit but it was still easy to clean by just letting it soak for a bit then it was very easy to clean. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is due to the edges being so sharp. You must be careful when handling it but for the price I’m still very happy with this grill plate.

Do not hesitate to purchase. Fits my 6 in 1 Ninja Foodi Smart Grill perfect and boy what a difference this grate makes not only in appearance but flavor of your food! Liked it so much I purchased one for my brother for Christmas. Get it flavored, rinse only in hot water and you will continue to enhance the flavor. Edges are a bit sharp so be careful but NOTHING to keep you from using it. I haven’t had an opportunity to use the griddle side but looking forward to trying it. BUY THIS!

Absolutely the best addition to my Ninja! The grill marks are excellent and the grate gets nice and hot…I can NOW get a perfectly grilled RARE steak! Fits perfectly and yes edges are a bit rough but you just have to be careful. I want to use it every day to get it seasoned! Wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this….matter of fact I just bought another one to give as a Christmas gift to someone who has the FG551. They’ll love it! FYI…do NOT put in dishwasher, hot water and a little soap in the sink will protect the “seasoning” you are building up! Thank you! I’ve made several comments on Ninja FB pages to recommend this!

I was not a happy camper this pass summer when my apartment complex banned all patio grills, including my electric patio grill using GRILLGRATES. This fall I repurposed a 12″ long seasoned SEAR’NSIZZLE 8.25″ panel that I placed horizontally on a new windowed “Hamilton Beach Electric Indoor Searing Grill” and turn the whole grill 90 degrees, making it easier using the GrateTool for flipping. After 6 cooks, chicken, pork and steak were moist with good flavors and much better than I thought it would be. I used one those black binder office paper clamps to hold the SEAR’NSIZZLE stable and so far the smoke alarms have remained quiet, so will see how this set-up works over time. The SEAR’NSIZZLE cleans up pretty good after a little soak in the sink, which I do after each cook.
