Although these vegetables are difficult to cut, it is worth the extra time and energy to slice, seed and toss in herbed oil, or just plain on your GrillGrates.

Ingredients

Servings

0.5

butternut squash, acorn squash, or pumpki

0.25

tbsp

Olive Oil

Salt & Pepper

Directions

Step 1

Heat GrillGrate surface to 400 degrees F

Step 2

Carefully cut squash in half.

We like to mark the halfway point on the squash by piercing a fork where we plan to cut and microwave for 2-5 minutes depending on size of squash. Don't forget to scoop out the seeds and pulp!

Step 3

Drizzle with olive oil and season with your favorite seasoning blend.

Step 4

Place on preheated GrillGrates cut side down for 10-15 minutes.

Step 5

Flip and grill on the other side for another 20 minutes or until desired softness is acquired.

Depending on what squash you are using you may want to roll every 5 minutes.
