The National Pork Board calls pork the other white meat! And just like the other white meat, chicken, it is easy to overcook, and when that happens, it becomes chewy and tough.

Ingredients

Servings

1

Pork Chops 1″ thick

Cavender’s Greek Seasoning or your favorite seasoning for dry rub

Canola Oil Spray

Olive Oil (Optional)

Rosemary (Optional)

Garlic (Optional)

Salt (Optional)

Pepper (Optional)

Directions

Step 1

Set grill to 450-550F degrees at the GrillGrate surface.

Step 2

Spray the pork chops with Canola Oil and cover in your preferred seasoning.

Step 3

Grill for approximately 5-7 minutes a side.

Step 4

Lift and twist the pork chops after 3-4 minutes.

Step 5

After 7 minutes, turn the pork chops over on the grill.

Step 6

Monitor the internal temperature of the pork chops. For juicier pork chops, do not grill past medium, about 145F degrees. You can remove the pork chops from the grill at 140F degrees internal temperature to allow them to continue cooking inside while the pork chops rest, about 5 minutes, before serving.
