Apples and Pork are a southern classic combo. This apple brined pork by Chef Tina Cannon makes us drool.

Directions

Mix together all Brine ingredients minus the Apple Juice

Place pork chops in a shallow container with brine in the bottom. Then, pour the apple juice over the pork chops until it just covers the pork.

Shake and refrigerate for 6 hours, minimum

Grill on high heat and grill until at least 145° F. Enjoy!

Ingredients

 4 pork chops, 1" thick
Brine
 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
 2 tbsp Pickling Spice
 2 tbsp Kosher Salt
 4 tbsp Brown Sugar
 ½ tsp black pepper
 1 gal Apple Juice / Apple Cider
