Ingredients

Servings

0.25

cups

melted butter

0.08

cups

lemon juice

0.5

tbsp

minced garlic

0.5

tbsp

old bay seasoning

wooden skewers

Directions

Step 1

Place the butter, lemon juice, garlic, and Old Bay in a large mixing bowl and combine with a whisk.

Step 2

Divide the mixture in two.

Step 3

Add Shrimp to one bowl and toss.

Step 4

Add Scallops to the other bowl and toss.

Step 5

Using two skewers about an inch apart begin to thread the shrimp and scallops. You want to separate the two as they will take longer to cook.

Step 6

Repeat until you have use all of the shrimp and scallops.

Step 7

Warm up the grill to medium 450 degrees F max - no need for a scorching hot GrillGrate surface. The goal is firm and tender.

Step 8

Give the scallops a 5-minute head start and turn once before putting the skewered Shrimp on the GrillGrates.

Step 9

Turn shrimp after 2-3 minutes

Step 10

Pull off in 5 minutes while shrimp is still pink. (no red- that is over cooked.

Step 11

Pull scallops off when opaque.
