Original grate on my grill were old and in bad shape. Saw these via Serious Eats and Amazingribs.com so I thought I would give them a try. It was easy to figure out the sizes and installation took about 5 minutes. All steaks off the grill this summer have been excellent!

The Grill Grates for the Recteq RT 590 have been stellar performers! They have given the RT 590 the full ability to sear and grill with excellent results. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who owns a pellet grill/smoker.

I really enjoy being able to flip between spatula and the fingered tongs to get under meats on the grill grates. And a friend, that I gifted a set of the combotongs to, says they are great when cooking salmon on the grill.

I love the Grill Grates especially the dual cooking sides and that they stop flare-up. One minor suggestion: it would be great if the grill spacing was slightly narrower so the hotdogs didn't fall below them....have to cook them sideways

I'm very happy with my grill grates. I've used them to cook fish and hamburgers on my grill with great results. I plan on ordering more grill grates in the near future.

Grill Grates are the best. I tell everyone I know that if they want to be a true Grill Master they need to get grill grates. Say goodbye to flareups when you get grill grates. Food comes out testing moist and delicious.

My new GrillGrates fit my PK 360 perfectly. Unfortunately, they cannot be used without the existing grates. They install on top of them. No big deal. Grill Grates are interlocking. But, the do not interlock on one side making it easy to load additional charcoal during long cooking sessions. Nice feature, if in fact it was designed this way. When seasoned as directed, no sticking. And, no flare ups. I love my new GrillGrates.

Hi! First of all thanks for the SUPREME customer service ( I made a mistake on my order and they fixed everything with just one e-mail, i'm impressed. ) Secondly , these grillgrates are a must, i made the best steak i ate in my life! Excellent product, my bbq should've come factory equipped with these Great grill grates !

Love it! Great for everything from steakhouse steaks to chicken, fish. You name it. The backside works great for smash burgers. Gets that nice crust. Beautiful grill marks and flavor is out of this world. Would highly recommend to anyone. Especially those that own pellet grills

I am an engineer and have a pretty good grasp of everything from thermodynamics to metallurgy. For these reasons it took me a long time to purchase a set of grill grates. I mean, how could throwing some metal grates on top of your existing grates make a difference in being able to cook and sear a steak on a Traeger and not, all while leaving those wonderful grill marks we all love? I was so skeptical, but based off testimonials and countless people recommending them, I broke down. From the first time that I used them, I was in awe. I love my Traeger but always had the caveat that it sucked for normal summertime grilling. Steaks, burgers, brats, hot dogs. They tasted ok, but they looked like they came out of the oven. Now, I get char, I get lines, I get sear... This was the difference between me spending $80 on grill grates and me spending another $300 + on a gas grill to cook the staples on. It is magic... +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Brad here Mike- I very much appreciate your feedback. Over past 14 years we've had trouble explaining the HOW and WHY GrillGrates work so well- we're still working on that! Thanks for being a grrrrrrate customer!

I have found that grillgrates work best at higher temps when searing. The directions state the grillgrates should be placed on the stackside of the grill, yet the picture shows it placed on the opposite side - away from the stack. Which is correct? Also, how much do grillgrates affect the temperature and heat flow when smoking? Should grillgrates be removed during a long smoke at low temperatures? ++++++++++++++++++++++ Brad- we private messaged you. We'll check the picture. Stack side placement yields most heat bump. If no stack then center them. We don't suggest GG on low and slow- they actually speed up the cook. They are sear stations for grilling primarily. Brad

Bought these GrillGrates for my Davy Crockett GMG Smoker... To give reverse Sear... But I use them more on my Char-Broil Grill... Run Super hot... Giving awesome sear on all meats... I use the griddle side to toast hamburger buns....

Wow!! What a great product. I have grilled burgers, hot dogs, brats, steak, chops, bacon, breakfast sausage patties, and hash browns. They do run hotter than other grates and take a little getting use to. I love that you can flip them over and hav a griddle. I am 100% satisfied. I highly recommend. Excellent flavor, even heat distribution, and no flare ups.
