Me and cast iron just never got along. Grill grates made it possible to replace the cast iron grates. I measured the front to back distance and side to side. Grill grates had the right size and they fit perfectly.

Just received them yesterday and cooked burgers on them, what a difference. I have the cast iron grates for my big green egg and I wasn't getting the grill marks and burgers were taking a little longer to cook (drying out) on the cast iron. Put burgers on the grill grates for 4 min a side and by far the juiciest burgers ever. Don't know how anyone has ever cooked without them.

I'm anxious to use but haven't yet. I have my wood pellets and just started to season the 5 panel grill grates. Clean up of grill rates and griddle was nice and quick with the thongs and grill brush. So far I'm very happy. I kept checking various surface areas for temp and was impressed with the slight differences in temp ranges. Grilled burgers with with very very minor flare up. I'm a novice at grilling but I'll learn fast..

I like them. They do seem to even out the heat and never have any flare ups even cooking greasy hamburgers. A totally new experience in grilling. Worth the price.

Used this for the first time on Thanksgiving. The 6 inch tube smoked for two hours and that was all the Turkey needed. Highly recommended.

While I'm not a fan of gril- smoking (maybe because of a 22 year-old grill I keep resurrecting), I used a package of the "Jack Daniels" pelletsin my 6" A-Maz-En tube for veggies (beets, poblano peppers, zucchini) & burger patties. I got a nice smoke flavor....not overpowering! My only "complaint" is that I got combustion merely by placing the tube on my GrillGrate (over low heat. While I'm at it, I'd like to "hype" GrillGrates......despite the cost, I feel GrillGrates are, at least for me, the best single thing to come "down the pike" since the invention of the gas grill....and I've been grillin' for 50+ years. I've been able to grill my BEST EVER: steaks, pork chops, veggies, chicken, burgers. I just wish I would have come up with the idea!!!!!!!!!

Pop these babies in your tube smoker and enjoy a delicious smoke on your food. Burns completely, great product. Highly recommended.

Had a grillgrate for my large egg that I lived, but had a mini egg that they did not make grate to fit. Used the custom cut service and they cut this in half aling with the smaller gap grate. Now I have a perfect mini grill grate when cooking for just two.

Today I cooked steaks on my Nexgrill that was bought from Home Depot for 99.00 dollars. I hook it up to a travel trailer and use a long hose to cook away from the canopy. My first attempt to do some thick rib eyes was very disappointing. Nothing but flames and smoke because of the grease dripping. My wife was very disappointed as well as I.Weeks later GrillGrates saved the day and the grill. What a huge difference, the rib eyes we cooked today looked perfect and cooked beautifully, sorry was so excited I didn’t think to take photos. GrillGrates saved our mothers day steaks and I don’t think my other grills could have produced such beautiful sear marks and even penetration of heat. So that means I’ll have to order some for my Camp chef and Weber Kettle. This was cut to my specifications with a spacer that fit perfectly.

I had excellent results with GrillGrates for my big gas grill, which I have now replaced with a Weber Q2400 electric. I was a little skeptical about the electric in general, but found it to be very good. I also wasn't sure if GrillGrates would work with an electric grill, but was assured that they would work fine as long as the grill gets "good and hot." I ordered 3 Grates cut to 12", which covers most of the grill surface and my results with steak, fish, chicken and potatoes have been very good. Also, I can operate the grill on my screen porch, which is very convenient. If you have an electric grill and are wondering about GrillGrates, I say go for it!

Fit perfectly, best grates i've ever grilled on. Low maintenance and heat very evenly, makes grilling so easy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I am very happy with my purchase. It makes grilling so much nicer. Great tasting food and no flare ups. Would recommend grill grates to anyone that loves to cook on there grill.

While looking to replace my 10 year old Weber grill, I realized that, with the exception of the grates, the grill was in excellent shape. I found GrillGrate by chance and after reading about the replacement grates and speaking to customer service, I thought I'd give them a try. I've had the grates for 2 months and have used the grill extensively during that time. I can't say enough positive things about the product! The fit was perfect, the heat distribution is fantastic (very even across the grill), and the temperature of the grill did increase as advertised. I love the sear and grill marks I get with the grates. They are pricey but worth the extra cost. I'd buy them again and highly recommend them.

I was at the point of replacing my TEC Patio II grill because the old grates were beyond cleaning. I looked into buying replacements but I never liked the design of the original grates and I didn't want to spend $300 for inferior grates. Grill Grates customer service helped me select the right grates for my grill and custom cut them to my specifications. The fit is perfect and my new Grill Grates are far superior to the original equipment. Best of all they were half the price of the replacement grates from the manufacturer.

Very good product, makes grilling easier and yields better results (juicier steaks, more heat/less fuel, etc.). The hype is mostly correct about the trapped juices aiding the cooking and reducing flare-ups. But there is a small catch. The spacing on the raised bars is a bit wide for burgers and "soft" items. Good, fresh burgers tend to sag between the bars before they firm-up from cooking. I suppose the manufacturer will say to turn over the grates and cook on the flatter side, which works fine. But then you are frying on a griddle more than grilling on the grates (which is ok, I suppose). I also bought the griddle plate, which worked great for bacon and eggs. I was pleasantly surprised the eggs DID NOT stick to the griddle. I did season the grates and griddle plate with some grill spray oil. That seemes to work well. Bottom line is that these products are very good for a serious griller. If you are willing to clean a bit between grilling, and flip the grates from time-to-time, then you will get better results than the cheapy wire grates or even the better, thicker round wire or flat grates,

The product itself is very good and, as of now, I recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their grill. I use them on the indoor grill attached to my cooking range and they perform at 95% of my very high end, completely infrared, outdoor grill by TEC. I cannot give them 5 stars because I'm not sure they have customer service at all. One of the grates arrived quite scratched and I wrote asking if that might affect the nature of the cooking surface in a negative way. I have yet to receive a response after two weeks. Instead all I get are promotional emails suggesting I buy more of their products. Hopefully I simply fell through a temporary crack in the customer service chain and will be hearing from them soon. If not then I must say that is rather lame and won't buy from them again or continue to recommend the product.

I was so please with not only the package but with the team at Grill grates. I did not use my coupon upon my order and email them. They applied the coupon and I receive the credit on my account. The Grates are the only way to cook and they provide the right heat displacement on my gas grill. We also use these grates on our Comp PK grill for our SCA Steak cook-offs. The only way to go.
